Description

I printed this phone holder to fit my Nissan leaf. The base section fits in the panel below the Climate Controls. This was a blank panel in my Australian Leaf, but it may be used for indicator lights in other countries. The holder has 3 parts. One part mounts to the dash (fixed in place by factory screws from the inside as shown in the photos. The second part pushes in to the base, and I used it to hold a QI induction charger. I bought the QI charger from Jaycar Electronis in Australia. https://www.jaycar.com.au/fast-wireless-qi-charger/p/MB3667 There's probably the same thing available in other countries. I took the cover off the charger and just used the internal bits. The last part is custom made to suit whatever phone you have. My one fits a Samsung Galaxy S8 with an Incipio cover. I tacked the phone holder to the induction charger mount with super glue, but it already holds in place fairly well by the 4 pins. I printed all parts in the orientation as shown. This meant that I'd get the best finish on the faces that you see when installed. I've included the Sketchup files so you can customise it to suit your needs.
