3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Rear windscreen wiper cover for Porsche Cayenne 955 2003. After the windscreen wiper cover got knocked off some how I purchased one from Porsche spare parts. I had to buy both the cover and the rear window handle/lock switch too, NZ$100 ish In another country I could get one on Ebay for $10 I broke the little plastic catch inside trying to put it on. Had to buy a second one.. Got a panel beater to put it on the car. 2 years later that too fell off and I ran over it on the driveway. So I thought i would design one. I had the new unused base to keep trying the fit. I made about 10 that were wrong. But thats whats so good about having a 3d printer for prototyping. Kind of a replacement for planning. First one I have made is in PLA and I will make another in ABS as black can get pretty hot and it will fail. Happy to share.
