Summary If you download or collect one of my designs, please give me a like! I always enjoy my Quad Lock mount on my bicycles and wanted to get its advantages also when driving my car. Since there is no stock mount available that fit my needs, I designed one myself using ryan_slam's Quadlock GoPro adapter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2288367). It fits perfectly into the cup holder of a Golf 7, and still may cups would fit. The four snappers will lock in and keep it rock solid in its place. Now my phone is available at my finger tips for navigation, and increases driver safety too. The entire design of Version 1.0 is quite solid and robust, yet not really elegant. Form follows function - lol:-) In future, if and when I may find the time, I will spend some more hours to make it smart. You may find my Qlock4G7 useful as well;-) Remark: if you get to know if Qlock4G7 fits into other Volkswagen, please let me know by leaving a comment here. Print Settings Printer Brand: Anycubic Printer: All-metal Mega Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50% Filament: Anycubic PLA Notes: I printed it in the normal standup position as shown here in the stl picture. Using Cura "Tree support".
