I didn't want to use permanent glue or to drill holes in my dashboard, so I made this. The flat profile follows the storage compartment's outline and blends with it. If printed black, it's almost invisible. I fitted an old universal joint with a magnetic phone holder, which I glued to the round hole on the top. The profile fits snuggly into the storage compartments so it effectively supports itself. Then a soft double-sided tape can be used to secure it firmly in place. * I used the hollow version in order to save material and printing time. It fits great and works like a charm. I have no data on how the full version looks like in real life *
