Description

The tail lamp of my Cayenne started to wobble, and separated a bit from the side panel when pushed lightly... I figured out the culprit was this plastic nut that holds the assembly. Here is an original re-creation of that part. I could buy them online for less than $5, but figured trying to model it was a nice exercise on OpenSCAD. I used ABS to print it and it fits great. They are not exact copy of the original ones, but the one I installed on my car is very stable and doesn't wobble. The plastic_nut.stl file is ready to print, should be straightforward to use. The original scad is provided for customization if needed. As far as I know, this part seems to be also able to replace P/N 95563147101, 95563147100, and fits 2003-2014 models. Disclaimer: If you decide to use this model, you are solely responsible for any direct or indirect problems caused by the use of a printed part generated using this model. For 3D printed products made by plastic extrusion methods, plastic is heated and layered upon itself to build the final part. As a result, the resulting completed parts are not as strong as normal injection molded plastics. In addition the temperature at which the plastic becomes pliable is a lot less than regular plastics. Note: Porsche, Cayenne, and Porsche Cayenne are trademarks of Dr. Ing. h.c. F.
