Brake Safe Monitor Adapter for LC200 Sahara 2017. This adapter fits in the space used by the card holder and requires an RM6000 "Brake Safe" (Monitor) to complete the installation. Brake Safe monitor is used to check the battery condition when towing a trailer which has electric brakes. After printing the attached adapter.... Step 1) Remove the top case from RM6000 Step 2) Remove the lower dash from drivers side and remove switch panel & card holder assembly. Step 3) Slide the RM6000 lower half (with circuit board) into to adapter from the front. Step 4) 2 x M3 x 25mm screws & nylocs to hold assembly together Step 5) Insert Brake Safe front panel (blue label) into provided slot Step 6) Insert assembled adapter into switch panel (from behind) with 2 screws. Note: some trimming / filing may be necessary for a snug fit. Step 7) Re-install switch panel, dash & test.
