Description

This is a test lug nut cover that I created mainly to test how the threads print. If they are correct I'll modify the cover to be more than just a cylinder. -UPDATED- Second iteration uploaded. Thinner wall, deeper hole, and scaled to 101% to counter ABS shrink. (successful threads). -UPDATED- Third iteration uploaded. Threads are good, so adjusted model to look like stock S10 lug nut cover. It's not quite OEM, but dang close! -UPDATED- I added the Fusion 360 file as well as an obj file for those interested in modifying this design. I could not find the original file, so I remade it. It should be very close to the original. -UPDATED- I made a Chevy bow tie cutout in the face of the cover and included the bow tie as well. If you have a dual extrusion printer the models should fit together as is. I do not, so I will be printing the parts out separately and pressing them together after. I will add pictures once I have printed this newest update. -UPDATED- I realized that the bow tie was backwards, so I corrected that. I also added a version of the lug nut cover and the bow tie insert with fillets to make them easier to press together for us non-dual extruder folks. If you are using a dual extruder printer use the models without the fillets.
