3DPrintedCarPartDescription
A cover panel for the window and heated-seat switches in a Land Rover Discovery 1. The original part has prongs that press into the supporting plate and these are usually easily broken. I've designed my panel to print without support and have an alternative way to fix in place. I've created 4 counter-sunk holes in my design that align with the original pins. These can accept M4x12 screws, but you may find the plastic insert of the back panel rotate with the screw, making it hard to fix in place. You can either glue those plastic collars in the holes to stop them spinning, or press my provided pins in place instead. These should print to provide a firm connection. You may need to adjust horizontal expansion if your material needs it. I've added some 3.4mm diameter pins today that fit my car better, but you may still need to experiment. My discovery 1 has switches for windows and heated seats, so the design matches. Please do check before printing. It's possible this also fits in Discovery 2 but I have not checked.
